Jenny Lukas originally started working as an accountant in 1999, qualifying as a Chartered Management Accountant, and quickly discovered the joy of being able to work more closely with business owners to help them identify the goals and actions that they need to have in order to make their businesses more successful and enjoyable.

For the last 20 or so years Jenny has been working with accountants around the UK, teaching and guiding them on using the tools and resources available as part of AVN membership, to become the trusted advisor to their clients, and to help them improve the numbers in their clients businesses.

Although a qualified accountant, Jenny believes that it is not only the financial numbers that a business should measure, and says “Sometimes the key numbers that a business owner should be measuring include how many hours the business owner works, and how many weeks holiday the business owner is able to take.  In addition to this business owners should be measuring how reliant on the business owner the business is, and how systems can be implemented to make the business less reliant”.
